Mohammed Yakubu is a first degree holder in Economics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He started his banking career in 2014 as a Microfinance Credit officer at Nkoranman Rural Bank Ltd, where he rose to become the Deputy Microfinance Coordinator. In November 2017, Mohammed was appointed as Microfinance Coordinator of Nsutaman Rural Bank Ltd, where he again rose through the ranks to become the Credit Manager. Currently, he is the Ag. Operations Manager for the Bank.
Having been in a management position, Mr. Mohammed is engulfed with quite an experience in areas such as people management, microfinance management, community entry dynamics, credit group formation, group lending methodologies and credit management in general.
Mr. Mohammed also holds a professional qualification in forensics (Associate) from the Institute of Certified Forensic Accountants (Canada) and currently pursuing his MBA (Finance) at University of Cape Coast.
