Mr. Mohammed Yakubu started his banking career in 2014 as a Microfinance Credit officer at Nkoranman Rural Bank PLC, where he rose to become the Deputy Microfinance Coordinator.
In November 2017, Mohammed was appointed as Microfinance Coordinator of Nsutaman Rural Bank PLC, where he again rose through the ranks to become the Credit Manager.
In March 2022 he was appointed as the Operations Manager for the Bank, and has since occupied this position to date.
Having been in a management position, Mr. Mohammed is engulfed with quite an experience in areas such as banking operations, microfinance management and credit management in general.
Mr. Mohammed holds MBA (Finance) from the University of Cape Coast, BA Economics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, professional qualification in forensics (Associate) from the Institute of Certified Forensic Accountants (Canada) and currently a Level Three Student-Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Ghana.
