Ebenezer Awuah-Asomaning brings over 15 years of experience in IT management, systems administration, and technical support to his role as the Acting IT Manager at Nsutaman Rural Bank PLC. Since January 2024, Ebenezer has been at the forefront of the bank’s IT operations, steering the department to align technology strategies with the bank’s overall goals. He is responsible for managing complex IT projects, ensuring the secure and efficient operation of the bank’s IT infrastructure, and overseeing critical upgrades to hardware, software, and networks. Additionally, Ebenezer manages external vendor relationships, ensuring both cost-effectiveness and high-quality service delivery. His leadership also extends to disaster recovery planning, business continuity management, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Before his current position, Ebenezer served as the Systems Administrator at Agave Rural Bank PLC from 2011 to 2023. In that role, he was instrumental in administering Windows Server environments, fortifying network security, and managing essential core banking platforms, such as the T24 Core Banking Application. His responsibilities included handling system upgrades, optimizing performance, and ensuring that backup and recovery processes were in place and reliable. Ebenezer also played a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance by closely collaborating with ARB Apex Bank’s Information Security Unit.
Ebenezer’s credentials include an ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from Axelos, a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification in Server Infrastructure, and several other Microsoft certifications, including MCSA: Windows Server 2012 and Microsoft Certified Professional. Additionally, he holds a Linux Network Administration certificate from the University of Ghana and an International Diploma in Computer Studies (IDCS) from IPMC College of Technology.
