BISMARK MIREKU BOATENG

Bismarck Mireku Boateng is a seasoned Banking Professional with over 18 years of experience in Ghana’s Rural Banking sector.

He began his Banking career in 2007 as a Clerk with Brakwa Breman Rural Bank PLC, where his dedication and competence saw him rise through the ranks to become Head of Internal Audit in 2018.

In 2020, Bismarck joined East Akim Rural Bank PLC as Head of Risk, Compliance, and AML/CFT&P, a role he held until December 2024.

His leadership in Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management significantly contributed to the Bank’s operational integrity and adherence to industry standards.

Currently, Mr. Boateng serves as the Acting Head of the Internal Audit Department at Nsutaman Rural Bank PLC.

In this capacity, he continues to champion strong governance, effective risk management, and regulatory compliance, ensuring the Bank’s operations align with best practices and statutory requirements.

Bismarck holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Banking and Finance from Central University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing (CIM-UK) from the University College of Management Studies. His academic background complements his practical experience, equipping him with a well-rounded perspective on financial services and strategic management.

He has participated in numerous Workshops, Training Programs, and Industry fora organized by the Bank of Ghana, ARB Apex Bank, the National Banking College, and other Private Training Institutions.

These engagements have enriched his expertise in banking operations, internal controls, and strategic financial planning.
